When running two dormakaba ED operators together as master and slave units, a Vario or continuous cover can be used to keep the space between them neat, tidy and pleasing to the eye. Sometimes, however, that space isn’t available – which is where RTR’s new Comms Cable comes into its own.
Available in two lengths – 4170mm and 4770mm – and compatible with dormakaba ED100 and ED250 operators, the cables are engineered to:
- Allow communication between the two operators
- Run across the front of the operator
- Pass cleanly through the connection board
- Feed back through the frame
- Use compact RJ45 Connectors to ensure no protrusions interfere with end cap fitting
Each length provides ample slack to accommodate maximum hinge spacing, while still allowing tidy routing through the system.
Electrical noise can lead to operational issues in access systems. The new ED Comms Cable includes an in-line filter to help maintain signal integrity and reduce noise interference, ensuring stable and reliable communication between devices.
Its resin-potted connectors prevent pull-out and protect the internal connections.
